Latest Political Updates From Bihar : On Wednesday, Pappu Yadav, the leader of the Jan Adhikar Party, announced the merger of his organization with the Congress.
Yadav is a well-known figure in the Seemanchal region of the eastern state. He is a former five-time Member of Parliament from Bihar and the spouse of Congressman Ranjeet Ranjan, a member of the Rajya Sabha.
At the AICC headquarters, he made his announcement accompanied by his son Sarthak Ranjan and other party leaders.
Yadav claimed he was treated with respect by the Congress leadership and that he was joining the party’s battle against the nation’s “dictatorship” in order to save the Constitution and democracy.
“We are satisfied with the honor bestowed upon us by the entire Congress family. We have received a great deal of love from both Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Rahul Gandhi.
“Rahul Gandhi is the one who has captured the hearts of Indians, and they adore him.” By bringing up the subject of conducting a caste census, he has also brought up the concerns of OBCs,” he stated.
“To save this country and its democracy and protect the Constitution, there was no other way except joining Rahul Gandhi’s fight,” he stated.
There was also Mohan Prakash, who oversees Congress relations in Bihar.
“We’re going to win the assembly elections in 2025 and the Lok Sabha in 2024. I express my gratitude to Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Rahul Gandhi, and my country’s president, Mallikarjun Kharge.
“I will struggle to strengthen the Congress and work with all my might in this regard,” Yadav added.
