Ronaldo and Karim Benzema, who both joined Al Ittihad during the summer transfer window, reunited during the match.
Abderrazak Hamdallah gave Al Ittihad the lead in the 14th minute, but five minutes later, Ronaldo scored a penalty kick down the middle to tie the score for Al Nassr.
Al Nassr took the lead through a goal from Talisca in the 38th minute, but six minutes into the second half, Hamdallah equalized.
In the 68th minute, Ronaldo scored again from the penalty spot to give his team a lead again and record his 53rd goal in 2023.
After Fabinho was sent off in the 66th minute, Al Ittihad was down to 10 men. Sadio Mane scored the game’s winning goals in the 75th and 82nd minutes.
