Elvish Yadav assaults a YouTuber: The Bigg Boss winner has been charged by the Gurugram police.
Gurugram : For allegedly attacking YouTuber Sagar Thakur, Bigg Boss winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav has been charged by the Gurugram police. In his complaint, the victim stated that Yadav attempted to break his back. Following the widespread success of a video purportedly showing Elvish Yadav thrashing the man, action was taken. Maxtern is Sagar Thakur’s online persona on the video platform. Sections 147 (punishment for rioting), 149 (unlawful assembly), 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC are the grounds under which the Gurugram police have filed a case.
What ‘Maxtern’ Sagar Thakur said in his complaint?In his police complaint, Sagar Thakur claimed that Elvish Yadav was a threat to his life. “I, Sagar Thakur, also known as Maxtern, would like to draw your attention to a serious attack and danger to my life that Elvish Yadav committed. This calls for prompt judicial action. In his police complaint, Thakur claimed, “I am a well-known content creator with a focus on gaming entertainment. I have been actively producing content on YouTube since 2017.” ANI reported.
Since 2021, Sagar Thakur claimed to have known Elvish Yadav. He said that anti-Yadav misinformation has been circulated by fan pages of Elvish Yadav. “Over the past few months, hate and lies have been circulated by Elvish Fan Pages, which has upset me. I sought counseling from an NGO as a result. Elvish Yadav asked me to a meeting, but I assumed it was just a verbal conversation. He said in the complaint that “when he got to the store, he and his 8–10 drunken goons started beating me and using abusive language.” Elvish Yadav allegedly sought to physically handicap Sagar Thakur. “Elvish Yadav attempted to break my back in order to render me physically incapable. Eight or ten individuals arrived at 12:30 AM on March 8, 2024, and Elvish Yadav threatened to kill me before he left, leaving me all but comatose,” the statement continued.The alleged attack happened inside a mall in Sector 53 of Gurugram, according to PTI.
