Bollywood News Updates : This morning, renowned actor Govinda misfired his licensed gun, resulting in a bullet wound to his leg. With a cut beneath his knee, the 60-year-old actor was taken to Criticare Hospital, which is close to his Juhu residence, and was hospitalized to the Intensive Care Unit. After an hour-long procedure, the bullet was removed, but Govinda might spend a few days in the hospital.
Shashi Sinha, his manager, claims that at the time of the event, Govinda was preparing to board a flight to Kolkata. “I had arrived at the airport in preparation for our 6 a.m. trip to Kolkata for a show. When this disaster occurred, Govinda ji was ready to leave his home for the airport, according to the actor’s manager. By God’s blessing, Govinda ji just suffered a little leg injury, nothing major,” he continued.
With Sunita Ahuja, Govinda’s spouse, in Kolkata, the actor was by himself at home. As soon as Ms. Ahuja learned of the situation, she took off for Mumbai.
Govinda was keeping his licensed revolver inside a cupboard when he dropped it, setting it off, according to his manager. The star gave his manager and wife a call. The supervisor hurried to his house. The actor was escorted to the hospital by police as soon as they arrived. Tina Ahuja, his daughter, arrived to the hospital later.
The surgeon, Dr. Ramesh Agarwal, reported that Govinda’s condition was stable and the bullet had been removed. The doctor stated that although the actor will be released in three to four days, he would require a month’s rest.
The actor released an audio greeting to fans from the hospital. He claimed that his parents, his guru, and his admirers had saved him. “A bullet did strike me, but it was removed. In the audio tape, he stated, “I thank the doctors here and your prayers.”
After learning of the tragedy, a number of the actor’s loved ones and well-wishers arrived at the hospital. “He has strong willpower and said he wants to be home by this evening,” his brother Kirti Kumar said. However, he needs to spend two or three days in the hospital.” He praised Govinda’s supporters for their unwavering backing.
Govinda’s nephew Vinay Anand stated, “He has the blessings of fans everywhere.” Though he is now OK, he could have perished. He was chuckling. He said the bullet could have hit him anywhere and that only God’s grace had kept him alive. “Bajrang Bali saved me,” he claimed.
To check on Govinda, a leader of the Shiv Sena as well, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde called. “I personally contacted Govinda to express my sincere worry for his well-being. I wish him a speedy and full recovery on behalf of our state’s government and people,” Mr. Shinde stated in a statement. “I’ve told Govinda that he and his family will have all the help they need at this trying time. He and his loved ones are in our thoughts and prayers.”
According to reports earlier in the day, Govinda had not filed a police complaint. However, authorities have taken his gun and begun investigating the event. The hospital has increased security.
