Additionally, the car’s availability for subscription at a cost of Rs 17,436 per month was disclosed by the firm. Roadside support, maintenance, insurance, and car registration are all included in the membership price.
During the launch of the new Swift, Hisashi Takeuchi, MD & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited, stated that India is the country where the most Swifts have been sold out of six million sold globally.
With almost 28% of all passenger vehicle sales in India coming from the hatchback category, this market is still very active. It’s interesting to note that about 60% of hatchback sales come from the luxury hatchback sector, according to the MD.
The hatchback car, which the firm bills as “sporty and has a dynamic driving performance,” is not yet scheduled for release.
Maruti Suzuki has increased the pricing of the Swift and certain Grand Vitara models; the price rise for the Swift is up to Rs 25,000. The nation’s biggest automaker revealed that annual sales volume growth above two million units and that net profit increased to a new high for FY2023–2024, indicating that the boost hasn’t hurt sales.
