Haryana Political Updates : The three MLAs, Sombir Sangwan, Randhir Gollen, and Dharampal Gonder, asserted that state elections had to be called shortly as the Haryana administration is currently in a minority. They declared they will back the Congress in the coming election.
In the midst of a possible crisis within the BJP government following the announcement by three independent MLAs that they have withdrawn their support for the government, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini delivered a mysterious message today.
The three MLAs, Sombir Sangwan, Randhir Gollen, and Dharampal Gonder, asserted that state elections had to be called shortly as the Haryana administration is currently in a minority. They declared that they would back the Congress in the coming election.
But Mr. Saini downplayed the matter, saying it was nothing to worry about.
“As soon as I learned about it, I realized that the Congress was attempting to carry out their desires. “Everyone has a dream,” stated Mr. Saini.
“However, the public is aware. They understand that the Congress can only act in accordance with their own personal desires and has no bearing on the wishes of the people,” he remarked.
The Chief Minister did not elaborate on the BJP’s strategy for dealing with this fresh danger.
Former Chief Minister and Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda remarked that since the BJP is currently in the minority in the cabinet, it has no business remaining in power in Haryana.
“Keeping in mind the sentiments of the public, the MLAs supported the Congress, thanks to all the three independents,” said Hooda to the media.
“Those who voted for and supported the BJP are dissatisfied with this government, just like the general public.” The Congress leader stated that the BJP ought to dismiss the government right away and hold assembly elections.
At a press conference in Rohtak, where Mr. Hooda and state Congress head Udai Bhan were present, the three independent MLAs made the declaration.
“We have taken this decision on various issues including those related to farmers,” stated Gonder.
The head of the state Congress stated that the BJP had forty members in the assembly, which now has ninety-eight members. “The BJP government earlier had the support of JJP MLAs and independents, but the JJP had also withdrawn support and now independents are leaving,” Mr. Bhan stated.
The government of Nayab Singh Saini is now a minority one. He has no right to remain, not even for a minute, thus he ought to step down, Mr. Bhan stated.
