Even though the AAP MP is physically away for treatment, she has responded to party developments on social media.
New Delhi: AAP MP Raghav Chadha has been absent from election campaigns, according to Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, who also revealed that he is in the UK for eye surgery.
“Raghav is receiving therapy in the UK for an eye issue he developed. I was informed that it was quite serious and that blindness might have resulted if prompt treatment had not been received,” Mr. Bharadwaj stated.
“I wish him a speedy recovery and as soon as he’s fine, he will come back to India and join the party’s campaign,” said the minister.
The AAP MP has replied on social media to party developments, including Arvind Kejriwal’s detention and Sunita Kejriwal’s entry into politics with her roadshow in support of AAP candidates running in Delhi, even though she is physically away receiving treatment.
Mr. Chadha responded to the party’s claims that Arvind Kejriwal isn’t getting insulin or other diabetes medications from the Tihar jail administration.
“Arvind Kejriwal has suffered with diabetes for a long time. Kejriwal receives 54 units of insulin daily. Mr. Chadha stated in a post from April 18 on X that “it is being said that the administration in the jail is not giving him insulin.”
“This is extremely inhumane and against prison rules,” he stated. In the Delhi Liquor Policy case, Arvind Kejriwal was taken into custody in March. On March 21, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) detained him in connection with a money laundering case. In the same case, Manish Sisodia, his former deputy, is incarcerated.
Mrs. Kejriwal will spearhead the AAP’s Lok Sabha campaign in the nation’s capital and other regions, the party declared. The campaign began with a roadshow to support AAP’s East Delhi.
Parineeti Chopra and Mr. Chadha, who were married in September, participated in the London India Forum 2024 in March, which was held at the London School of Economics. On their social media accounts, the couple posted pictures.
