Parineeti Chopra is delighted with the compliments she is receiving for her role in Amar Singh Chamkila. The actor and politician Raghav Chadha’s nuptials were another of 2023’s major news stories. Parineeti talked about her idyllic romance with Raghav during an interview with Raj Shamani on his YouTube channel.
Parineeti remembers her initial encounter with Raghav
“We met at an event in London, and usually, I’d just say hi and move on, but this time, I said, ‘Let’s meet for breakfast,'” Parineeti recounted while discussing her marriage. Eight or ten of us total, including our teams, got together for breakfast the following day. I was unaware of his identity and his activities. After breakfast, I looked him up, literally. We realized that we would get married in a matter of days, not weeks, after I learnt about all the work he had completed.
“I swear, after meeting Raghav, I knew in five minutes that I was going to marry him,” she continued. I had no idea how old he was, if he was married, or even if he had kids. I was staring at this man and thinking, “I think I’m going to marry this man,” while he was just sitting down to breakfast in front of me. I felt a voice from God speaking to me.
