Latest Moter World Updates : At the Hero World 2024 event, Hero MotoCorp unveiled the Xtreme 125R commuter motorcycle, adding a new model to the popular category. Priced at 95,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), the Hero Xtreme 125R targets the highest tier of the 125 cc commuter market, directly competing with the TVS Raider 125. The Hero Xtreme 125R is a departure from the brand’s traditional commuter models. It has an extremely stylish look that sets it apart from anything the company has ever sold.
In terms of styling, the Hero Xtreme 125R has angular, eye-catching styling that is accentuated by a unique front headlamp design that lends the motorcycle a distinctive look. Featuring LED turn indicators on both sides and what appear to be Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the upper section, the sleek headlamp is low to the ground.
The bike has a sleek appearance that is enhanced by the Xtreme 125R’s powerful side shrouds and well-designed fuel tank. Split grab rails and chairs complete this look, giving it a very sporty appearance.
The Hero Xtreme 125R’s engine is a recently developed 125 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that produces 11.39 horsepower at 8,250 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Showa created a monoshock for the rear suspension, while 37 mm telescopic forks are used for the front.
There is only one disc brake up front, and depending on the model, there may be a drum brake or disc brake at the back. Single-channel ABS is one of the standard features; a dual-channel ABS model is also available extra ₹99,500 ex-showroom. The digital console of the Hero Xtreme 125R has an LCD unit that offers a plethora of information. This stylish commuter motorcycle will soon be available at showrooms, and reservations should go up soon. Hero MotoCorp has showcased various models at Hero World 2024, including the Mavrick 440, Xoom 125R, and Xoom 160, in addition to the Xtreme 125R.
