Kanye West enjoys having his own time. Since making his groundbreaking debut in 2004, the rapper has put out twelve albums, and all of them have experienced last-minute cancellations and delays. It’s the same with his most recent album.
Ty Dolla $ign and Kanye West’s long-awaited album Vultures has been teased for the most of 2023, but the information has been so inconsistent that it’s been difficult to tell what information is official and what is just internet rumors.
Having said that, it appears that Vultures is nearing completion. As far as one can set a West release date in stone, Ty Dolla $ign’s tracklist, which was recently posted on Instagram, has been confirmed by multiple outlets.
We thought it would be beneficial to compile all of the information we currently have on the new album so that you are aware of what to expect because there is a lot to keep track of.
When will Kanye West’s new album be available?
Let’s talk about false beginnings. The October 20 listening party in Italy that was scheduled to feature a preview of Vultures by Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign was rescheduled for October 27. It was then called off.
On November 3, the pair attempted to hold a second listening event in Saudi Arabia. Billboard later confirmed that the album was scheduled for release on the same day. The event was postponed once more, along with the album release.
When West and Ty Dolla $ign previewed the album at a recent club appearance, we finally got an official release date: December 15, 2023. Although an official confirmation has not yet been released, The Independent claims that West told the audience the title and the date: It’s known as Vultures, and it will be released on Friday.
Does Kanye West have a formal track list for his new album?
When Ty Dolla $ign shared the Vultures tracklist on Instagram, it gave the December 15 release date more legitimacy. There are eighteen songs on the tracklist, many of which have been leaked online for several years in various formats.
The greatest example is most likely “New Body,” which was supposed to be on Kanye West’s shelved 2019 album Yandhi.
A few other tracks from the playlist, such as “Paid” and “Time Moving Slow,” have been posted in poor quality on YouTube. In hip-hop, West has emerged as one of the most persistently bootlegged artists; however, the versions of songs that appear on the album and those that are leaked typically differ significantly.
In addition, West gave a sneak peek to a song that prominently samples the Backstreet Boys hit song “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)”. The sample is audible in the Instagram video that is posted below.
