Email bomb threats were sent to two hospitals in Delhi only days after other schools in the nation’s capital experienced a similar fear.
“Burari Hospital got an email containing a bomb threat. The bomb squad, dog squad, and local police arrived quickly. The hospital is being inspected by teams. According to M.K. Meena, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North), “nothing suspicious has been found yet.” Sanjay Gandhi Hospital also got a bomb threat, according to the police. When officials arrived, they began inspecting the hospital.
After learning of the incident, the Delhi Police moved quickly to launch an investigation. Delhi Fire Service issued a statement stating, “Bomb threat email received at Burari Government Hospital and Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Mangolpuri, search operation under way.”

“Burari Hospital got an email containing a bomb threat. Bomb Disposal Teams (BDT) and the local police are at the hospital, keeping an eye out for any suspicious activity. Nothing has shown up thus far, according to Delhi Police.
In a formal statement, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) referred to the email as a “hoax.” “There’s no reason to freak out. It looks like the mail is a scam. The official statement from the MHA stated that the Delhi Police and security agencies are following protocol and taking the appropriate actions.
