Jayant Sinha is requesting JP Nadda, the president of the BJP party, to release him from his direct electoral obligations, just like Gautam Gambhir has done.

Latest Election Updates : By requesting that party president JP Nadda release him from direct electoral obligations on Saturday, BJP MP Jayant Sinha made it clear that he will not be running in the forthcoming Lok Sabha election. Sinha claims he wants to be relieved so he can concentrate on halting climate change.
“I have asked the Honorable Party President, Shri @JPNaddaji, to release me from my direct electoral responsibilities so that I can concentrate my energies on addressing climate change in India and outside. Naturally, I’ll keep collaborating with the party on matters of governance and the economy,” the BJP MP posted on X (previously known as Twitter).

“For the past ten years, I have had the honor of serving the people of Bharat and Hazaribagh,” he continued. In addition, I consider myself fortunate to have had numerous opportunities from the BJP leadership, the Hon. Home Minister, Shri @AmitShahji, and the Hon. Prime Minister, Shri @narendramodiji. I sincerely thank each and every one of them. “Jai Hind!”
Jayant Sinha represents Jharkhand’s Hazaribagh as an MP. He has previously held the positions of minister of state for finance, minister of state for civil aviation, and member of India’s council of ministers from 2014 to 2019. The BJP MP was involved in the introduction of the UDAN regional connectivity project, which increased India’s operational airport count by 50% in just three years. Additionally, Sinha carried out a number of digital projects, such as “DigitalSky.”

“Drone policy” and the digital traveler program “DigiYatra”

Hours after BJP MP Gautam Gambhir asked Nadda to release him from political obligations so he could concentrate on his cricket commitments, Sinha made his announcement.
“I would like to concentrate on my forthcoming cricket commitments, so I have asked Hon’ble Party President JP Nadda ji to release me from my political responsibilities.” I am deeply grateful to Hon. HM Amit Shah ji and Hon. PM Narendra Modi ji for providing me with this chance to help the public. “Jai Hind!,” Gambhir said early on Saturday morning in a post on X.
