The mother of Union Civil Aviation Minister Madhavi Raje Scindia, a former Rajmata of the Gwalior Royal Family, departed on Wednesday. Scindia was on a ventilator for the last few days when she died away at 9:28 am. According to Jyotiraditya Scindia’s office, she was receiving treatment at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi for the past two months and has sepsis and pneumonia.
She will be laid to rest at Gwalior. Both Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari offered condolences for the deceased soul.
“It is deeply saddening to learn of the passing of Madhavi Raje Scindia ji, the mother of Union Minister Shri Jyotiraditya Scindia ji. My sincere homage to her. May God offer strength to Shri Jyotiraditya ji and his family, and serenity to the departed soul. Om Shanti,” stated Gadkari on X, the erstwhile Twitter platform.
