During the district’s first shift examination on Sunday, two solvers were taken into custody. By nightfall, a third solver was taken into custody from a city school. Subsequently, word spread that one of the candidates working the second shift in Dr. Kiran Saujia Academy’s B-block already possessed a copy of the answers to the police recruitment exam questions. The arrested candidate identified himself as Ravi Prakash Singh, son of Radheshyam, and inhabitant of Baruna police station in the Narayanpur district of Bhojpur, Bihar, when asked by center administrator Dinto MD. From him, two papers were found.

They contained written responses to the police recruitment exam questions. The recruiting exam consisted of 150 questions in total, 114 of which the candidate already knew the correct answers to. When questioned, he initially replied that he and a few other candidates who were outside had also submitted responses to the questions.

ASP Rahul Mithas arrived at the location with the police force after learning that the candidate had been apprehended using the solved copy. The candidate who had been detained was taken to the police station to be questioned. The police are still questioning Ravi Prakash, who was apprehended there.
