According to India Today TV, Amir Sarfaraz, a Pakistani underworld boss who is accused of killing Indian national Sarabjit Singh in a Lahore jail, was assassinated by an unidentified man. In 1990, Sarabjit Singh was taken into custody in Pakistan on suspicion of spying.

Two unidentified guys executed a Pakistani underworld thug who had murdered Indian national Sarabjit Singh while he was incarcerated on Sunday in Lahore, according to sources who spoke to India Today TV.
One of Pakistan’s most wanted underworld thugs, Amir Sarfaraz, also known as Tamba, was ambushed at around 1:30 pm at his Islampura neighborhood residence in Lahore by attackers on motorcycles. According to the sources, he was taken to a hospital in serious condition and later passed away from his wounds.
According to sources, the attackers rang the doorbell, and when Amir Sarafraz answered, they went inside the house and shot him many times, killing him.

Born in Lahore in 1979, Amir Sarfaraz was a close friend of the founder of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
Amir Sarfaraz and other individuals were charged with assaulting Sarabjit Singh while he was incarcerated. But in 2018, a Pakistani court found Sarfaraz not guilty, claiming “lack of evidence” against him.
Famously known as “Lahore ka asli don (reall don of Lahore)”, Amir Sarafraz was involved in the heroin trade and real estate trade as a member of the “Truckenwalla gang”.

ABOUT SARABJIT SINGH?

Punjabi native Sarabjit Singh was sentenced to death for espionage in 1990, despite his family and Indian officials fiercely disputing the accusation that at least 14 Pakistani people were killed in bomb attacks in Punjab region. According to Sarabjit Singh’s family, he strayed into Pakistan by accident while working as a farmer.
In May 2013, Sarabjit Singh passed away following more than twenty years of incarceration in Pakistan. He spent twenty-three years in the Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore before he was attacked by a group of prisoners, one of whom was said to be Amir Sarfaraz.

Days have passed since Afzal Guru, the Indian terrorist convicted of the 2001 Parliament attack, was hanged.
A group of detainees struck the 49-year-old on the head with bricks, resulting in significant brain injuries that led to his admission to Jinnah Hospital in Lahore. He died from his wounds a few days later, and his body was transported by air to India.

Dalbir Kaur, Sarabjit Singh’s older sister, made ceaseless pleas to gain her brother’s release during his prison term.

‘Sarabjit’, a Hindi feature film starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Randeep Hooda, was released in 2016. The story of Dalbir Kaur and her struggle to secure her brother’s release served as the inspiration for the movie.
