Auto Market Updates : Tuesday, January 16, saw the unveiling of the 2024 Hyundai Creta, one of the South Korean automaker’s most anticipated vehicles, following a facelift. Today, the SUV was introduced with new design enhancements, starting at ₹11 lakh.
The 2024 Hyundai Creta had a makeover and was introduced with additional features, improved styling, and an enhanced engine option. One of the most well-liked SUVs in India, Hyundai reported that since 2016, it has sold more than 9 lakh Cretas there.
Although the mid-size SUV Creta led its class in India at first, it now faces competition from vehicles like the Grand Vitara, Seltos, and Honda Elevate. On January 2 of this year, reservations for the most recent iteration of Creta opened.
The Hyundai Creta 2024 will be available in seven different configurations: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O). These Creta models come with several new features, such as an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package, in addition to minor design changes.
Hyundai Creta in 2024: New features and design adjustments
The 2024 Hyundai Creta features a number of exterior and interior design enhancements, including new tail light styling, a redesigned bumper, a stretch of LED light bar in the back, and sequential turn indicators on the front and rear. Additionally, the alloy design of the tires has been modified.
Inside, the dashboard has been elongated horizontally, and the air conditioning vents have been replaced. It has the same configuration for the steering wheel but has an ADAS controller. New upholstery and two 10.25-inch screens are also included in the inside.
A new 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine has been added to the lineup of Creta’s three engine options, which also include the 1.5-liter diesel and gasoline engines that are currently available. Six-speed manual, Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), seven-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), and a six-speed automatic are among the Creta’s flexible options.

The pricing of the Hyundai Creta base model for 2024 is fixed at ₹11 lakh. After receiving a facelift, Hyundai has produced seven variations, raising the price to about ₹17 lakh.
